What’s your take on last night’s Law & Order SVU episode? Advocate.com, reports the kiss between Mariska Hargitay and Kathy Griffin was left out. IMHO … I kind of like seeing Mariska’s character tortured with a little bit of questioning about her sexuality. I remember the first time a girl tried to kiss me … I was so uncomfortable with the situation … I fell on the floor and pretended to be waaay too drunk to even comprehend what had just happened. It took me a few years before I could finally ‘come out to myself’ .. and get up enough nerve to kiss a female.
As far as the rest of the episode … I love me some Kathy Griffin when she’s on the D List … and when she performs on stage … but I’m really not a fan of her performance last night. I couldn’t get it out of my head that it was ‘Kathy Griffin’ rather than the lesbian activist she portrayed. I also think SVU could have done a better job with the writing … so much of the quips made were too ‘stereotypical’ to believe as real. Oh well … like I said … that’s just my opinion. What’s yours?
