Thanks to Sex and the City, HBO has likely broadcast more female orgasms, and not-quite orgasms, than any station not in the porn business. The network will build on its already impressive lead by developing Mara Altman’s nonfiction memoir Thanks for Coming: One Woman’s Quest to Achieve Orgasm, about a 26-year-old New Yorker on the aforementioned expedition, into a comedy series.
